i just read l'estranger for the first time yesterday. Surreally.
anyone recall an ad with him doing a front feeble on a 5 or 6 stair? i remember thinking it was the best one i'd ever seen, but can't recall which mag. late 90s though.

giles - I remember a vans ad with a back smith on a mellow rail, about 5 or 6 steps. Is that the one you are thinking of maybe? It was back when vans had those "pro series" ads.
Keith - Hah, I dunno, I like the banner. It definitely is ghetto, but so is this site and I'm not really trying to make it "professional" looking. I'll think about sorting something out though; it's true that you can barely read the title.

i also recall a rad antihero ad with shots of john, julien, bob, and sean all skating union square. stranger had a rad front smith, cards a 50/50 on the back of the bench down the stairs, bob a crooked grind. can't recall what sean had.
i can't imagine stranger would ever be down with it, but an anithero epicly later'd would be sick.

that's it man! looking at it i'm confused. there are two tricks done regular, and only one of those skaters rides regular, bob. so is sean doing a switch back tail or a switch crooks?

Julien is literary skate ad extraordinaire. What is "Boben"? Is that Tobin photo credit or something to do with those two guys?
