Pulv - the Japan article is about snowboarding - not good at all. If you are still interested hit me up. Not really worth scanning though. Thanks for the link!

JOEY BAST!

I think Joey Bast is one of the most underrated skaters ever that isn't around anymore. For as much emphasis that is put on Drake Jones as the missing lord of style in 90s skateboarding (which believe me, is deserved, Drake Jones is sick.), I think that Joey Bast is so overlooked.

To me, he pretty much defines awesome 90s skateboarding. I think he may be my favourite skater ever.

I think one of the most underrated dudes from the 90's is Ceasar Singh. There is only one clip of him on youtube. That guy was so ahead of his time, both trickwise and stylewise. Someone needs to upload his part from Planet Earth's "Silver". I have a Transworld somewhere that has his 'good stuff' - every photo is on point, I'll definitely scan it up once I start looking at Transworlds.

I haven't tapped into my Transworld collection yet at all, it's my least favorite mag and I just have so many of them that it's really daunting to dig into them, but I'm going to try and get on that soon.

You're completely right about Ceasar Singh. Again, most of the footage I've seen of him is limited to the copy of Transworld's Greatest Hits I had, but wow. I always thought he had the illest smoothest style.

Whatever happened to John Drake?

I've got a Transworld Caesar interview around somewhere, might be the same one you're talking about? Frontside feeble a flatbar I think? Transworld was pretty much the only mag I bought, so if you wanna juice some scans next time I'm down, you're welcome to.

Ty - I'm pretty sure that's the one. You wouldn't happen to have the Transworld with Rick Howard's pro spotlight, would you? I think it had a centerfold of him doing that varial heel over Adams school bump, and also a feeble to five-o on that flatbar in LA? I left that shit on a greyhound bus back in 1996.

Wow. I never thought this would resurface. I think I have a copy of it and would have thought it was the only one in existence. Those were fun times; I still keep in touch with Joey, though not very often. Those earrings I am wearing are fucking embarrassing, and you couldn't pay me enough to actually read what I said in this interview.

Good work on the site. Cheers.
